Table 1749: high quality interior restaurant shot

Table 1749

★ 4.9 · 16 reviews Bangkok Opened March 2026

A four-course kitchen incubator on Chan Kao Road

A different chef takes over the room for a stretch, and the four-course menu changes with them. Right now it's Philipp Prinzbach's Culinary Passport, a tasting route through whichever country he's fixated on this residency.

The address sits out towards Rama III, well past the BTS reach. Check who's cooking before you book. This is the whole point: the menu is never the same one twice.

🇹🇭 Table1749 🍴 Mediterranean Cuisine 🎗️ Table1749 is a new casual fine-dining concept restaurant that invites top chefs from across the country to create pop-up menus, presenting their own unique styles. Currently, the restaurant has commissioned the chef who led Ōre to be included in the MICHELIN Guide Younge Chef Award to design an à la carte menu for customers to sample. The restaurant is a single-story building with simple decor. The counter area is ideal for those who want to watch the chefs prepare and serve their food, while the regular table seating offers more privacy. 🎗️ The menu features Mediterranean cuisine, primarily inspired by the chef's native Greek homeland. We recommend the "Crab dolma, prawn emulsion," where the dolma is delicate and has a distinct seafood aroma. Inside, rice is combined with the sweetness of succulent crab meat and dill, topped with various spices. The chef recommends pairing it with grilled lemon and shrimp mayo sauce. Next is “Mushroom Manti, yoghurt, smoked tomatoes.” Manti, or ravioli, filled with mushrooms offers a deep umami aroma and flavor. The chef pairs it with yogurt, which adds a tangy, creamy texture that balances the intensity of the mushrooms. The smoked tomatoes add a smoky aroma and a sweet and sour contrast, making the dish more complex. Finally, there is “Octopus, Garlic shoot, gremolata dressing.” Pan-seared octopus tentacles are tender and chewy, then drizzled with gremolata dressing. It's then served with grilled spring onions for a crispy texture and a light pungent aroma. The chef also grates dried fish roe on top. The sauce on the side is a garlic aioli sauce. 📃 À LA CARTE Sourdough pita, tarama, ezme (350++) Leek and feta börek, herb salad (290++) Tomato and walnut salad (390++) Crab dolma, prawn emulsion (350++) Mushroom Manti, yoghurt, smoked tomatoes (450++) Octopus, garlic shoot, gremolata dressing (690++) Lemon oregano chicken, grilled lettuce (620++) Chamomile ice cream, fig, grilled philo, fig leaf oil (390++) Portokalopita, yoghurt sorbet (390++) 🚗 Parking: Park in front of the shop. 🧥 Dress Code: Casual
