Shan comfort food, izakaya rules, above Rangoon Tea House

Small plates, long sessions, no rush: Namsu takes the izakaya template and swaps in Shan cooking from northeastern Myanmar instead of Japanese standards. Nothing else in Bangkok pairs those two.

It sits on the second floor of Rangoon Tea House on Soi Sangchai, near BTS Thong Lo. The room is built for social drinking, and the menu is built to be ordered from again and again across an evening.
