The Japanese-Peruvian group finally lands, 57 floors up
Nobu finally has a Bangkok address, decades after showing up on every other city's skyline. It took two floors near the top of The Empire, with the black cod and yellowtail jalapeño intact and a room that leans hard on the Sathorn view.
Prices sit closer to Hong Kong than Silom, so come with that expectation. Skip the tasting menu and grab a seat at the bar if you just want the view.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Food: 5/5 Nobu Bangkok absolutely lived up to the hype. The salmon nigiri was one of the freshest I’ve had—simple, buttery, and it really let the quality of the fish shine through. The California maki was fresh and well-balanced, while the iconic Black Cod was every bit as good as people say: rich, flaky, and packed with flavor. The truffle beef was another standout, perfectly cooked with just the right amount of truffle to elevate the dish without overpowering it. Every plate felt refined yet approachable. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Atmosphere: 5/5 Even though it started raining and we had to move indoors, the experience didn’t lose any of its charm. The interiors are elegant, lively, and create a great dining atmosphere. Nobu is also known for its incredible skyline views, and while the weather didn’t cooperate, the space itself still felt special. I’d already visited Le Du Kaan for the rooftop views, so this visit was all about enjoying the food—and it absolutely delivered. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Service: 5/5 The service was warm, attentive, and polished throughout the evening. The staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and handled the indoor seating change seamlessly when the rain started. It struck a great balance between fine dining and genuine hospitality, making the entire experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. If you’re visiting Nobu Bangkok, I’d definitely recommend trying the Black Cod, salmon nigiri, and truffle beef—they were the highlights of an excellent meal.

I had a very enjoyable evening at Nobu Bangkok. The atmosphere is elegant, the interior design is beautiful, and the rooftop view is absolutely stunning, definitely one of the highlights of the experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive throughout the evening. I do have one suggestion: it would be great if the staff used tablets to take orders instead of writing them on paper. It would make the service feel even more modern and efficient. Another suggestion is to provide the menu to every guest upon arrival and simply ask whether they would like to dine or just have drinks. This would allow everyone to explore all the available options from the beginning. As for the food, it was good and beautifully presented, but I personally expected a little more considering Nobu’s reputation. Overall, I would definitely recommend it for the amazing atmosphere, breathtaking rooftop views, and outstanding service.

It was our last night in Bangkok and went to Nobu for what was the most affordable Nobu in the chain. We got the omekse and it came as a five course meal. Highly recommend because you got to try a variety of meals that Nobu is famous for. The food was excellent and the service impeccable, which aligns with the price you are paying. We made reservations for sun down which was breathtaking but make sure to book nearby the edge because hard to see the view from the centre of the patio area. Also, everyone is there to take photos so be prepared of people coming by your table to take photos. Great for a one time visit.

Great and attentive staff with excellent service throughout the evening. The food was good overall, though a little pricey, which is to be expected for a rooftop venue with such a fantastic view. Among all the dishes, the beef stone bowl was outstanding, closely followed by the cod. In the end, the cod stole the show and was easily the highlight of the meal. A great spot for the atmosphere, views, and a memorable dining experience.
