Burmese cooking has been thin on the ground in Bangkok, and this is the fix. Rangoon Tea House built its name in Yangon before landing here in 2025, with mohinga, tea-leaf salad and sweet milky tea on the menu.

Start with the tea-leaf salad. Take the tea traditional, not iced. Lunch is the calmer service if you want to actually talk over the table.

The tea leaf salad is so good that after I finished the first one, I ordered a second. No that wasn't gluttonous of me, it's a salad. I will not be judged! Staff are friendly and very attentive. Top marks. The menu is comprehensive, so you'll definitely find something you like. They offer a lunch menu as well for 180 baht at the time if writing this. Exceptional value. Don't forget to try their teas. A large variety of regional takes on Burmese milk tea. Absolutely delicious.

Had a wonderful dining experience at Rangoon Tea House Bangkok. The food was authentic and full of flavor, bringing back the taste of traditional Burmese cuisine. The atmosphere was cozy and beautifully designed, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the tea and signature dishes. A perfect place to enjoy Myanmar flavors in Bangkok. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely come back again!

Our favorite Burmese restaurant in Bangkok. Always great food and great service. We did like the old seating arrangement a bit more though. The couches along the windows are too deep. Special thanks also to the staff for confirming our reservation despite having used a European phone number. It worked out greatly 🙏

I loved the four fish Mohingaa, tea leaf salad and the Burmese Iced Tea! The cafe gives cozy vibes, natural light seeping in while soft music plays in the background. The servers are very hospitable and ensured that everything served is okay! Highly recommend this place!

Absolutely love this place! The food is incredible, and their special tea selection really stands out. The ambiance is beautiful and creates such a relaxing, welcoming experience. What made it even better was the service—attentive, friendly, and very detail-oriented. The staff really notice the little things, from presentation to checking in at the right moments without being intrusive. One highlight for me was the Laphet salad—I’ve tried many before, but this one is exceptional. Everything is perfectly mixed and well-marinated, with the nuts still fresh and crunchy. Highly recommended for both the quality of food and the thoughtful service!
