Green-shirted street seafood on the Yaowarat corner
Grilled river prawns and a plastic chair on the pavement, that's the deal at T&K. It's one of two big green-shirted seafood operations that take over the Soi Phadungdao corner of Yaowarat each night, grilling prawns and fish right on the street.
Order the grilled river prawns, steamed fish and a stir-fried seafood dish, then eat at tables spilling across the sidewalk. It runs late, stays loud, and the queue is part of the experience.

Very delicious seafood dishes in the middle of Chinatown. This is my third time coming back to the restaurant every time I’ve reached Thailand. The place is a bit old, but the food is gold. The food taste is very good on every single dish I ordered. You should give it a try if you come to Chinatown. Definitely coming back if I have a chance. Highly recommend.

Instantly recognizable by the staff wearing bright green t-shirts, this iconic open-air establishment is a staple of Yaowarat Road. It delivers a quintessential Bangkok street dining experience with rows of metal tables set up directly on the frantic, neon-lit sidewalk. Signature Flavors: Reviewers highly recommend their massive charcoal-grilled river prawns, whole steamed sea bass or snapper in spicy garlic-lime soup, and rich Tom Yum Goong. The Atmosphere: It is chaotic, high-energy, and completely casual. Expect to dine amidst the buzz of passing traffic and bustling crowds. Seating Options: While the outdoor tables offer the best street-side energy, they also have indoor, air-conditioned dining floors upstairs if you prefer to escape the heat.

Order before you sit type of setting as you wait for a table to clear up. Food is quite good. Just awkward being so close to the roads that cars swept by with pedestrians looking at your table. There aren’t fans so it is quite humid. Bring wet wipes and hand sanitizers.

T&K Seafood is an absolute staple in Chinatown. We had the Stir-fried Crab with Yellow Curry and the Steamed Sea Bass in Spicy Garlic and Lemon Soup. The crab was incredibly rich and flavorful, and the steamed fish was perfectly light with a punchy, sour-spicy kick.
