Granma Pub sits on Konur Sokak, one of the pedestrian streets that form Kızılay's dense bar and café quarter. It is a student-and-regulars pub with cheap draught, a music-led room and the spill-out-onto-the-street energy that defines the area on a warm night.
The surrounding streets are wall-to-wall with bars, so it works as one stop on a longer crawl. Come for the atmosphere of a full Kızılay evening rather than a refined cocktail.

Visited on a quiet weekday for lunch. The draught beer was fresh and the cheeseburger I'd ordered was way better than what I expected from a pub. Great food, good service. Lots of stairs to climb to get there and the entrance is relatively hidden. Great for a delicious meal, a few cold beers with a spectacular view from above.

A good place to go with friends, the music is good, prices are not over, there is also a good view, the place is often full, so check before going. I really recommend to enjoy your time especially as i said with friends.

Used to have better food and vibes. You have to shout over the music to be heard as if its a club. There is no longer any vegan food except one or two dishes.

Its a nice cosy terrace. Food and drinks/cocktails are pretty fine. You'll have the whole Ankara beneath you while dining or sipping your drink. also for COVID-19 precautions, they are constantly ventilating during winter (and the heating is good) and needless to say, when the weather is better it becomes a fully open airy terrace :)
