Turks and Caicos' first drive-thru coffee run

No other coffee shop on the island lets you order without leaving the car. Java Blu sits on the Venetian Roundabout on Leeward Highway, the road most visitors only see between the airport and their hotel, which makes it more of a locals' stop than a resort-strip photo op.

Paul Horton and Carmela Giordano run the window, pouring coffee floats and stacking bombolini alongside sandwiches and ice cream. Skip Grace Bay traffic and swing by for the pastries; the drive-thru itself is half the reason to go.

Good to know

• Open Monday-Friday 6:30am-5:30pm, Saturday 6:30am-4pm, Sunday 8am-3pm.
• It's a genuine drive-thru, useful if you're heading to the airport or out toward Blue Hills and don't want to park.
