Marina views, Mediterranean plates, drinks till 2am

Skip the Grace Bay crowd and head to the marina instead. Magnolia's new menu trades the old generic surf-and-turf format for modern coastal cooking with a Mediterranean lean, and the boats docked outside make for a quieter scene than the beach strip.

Happy hour runs 4 to 7pm daily, a solid excuse to start early. The lounge keeps going until 2am on weekends, later than nearly every other dinner spot on the island.

Good to know

• Open Tuesday-Sunday, 4pm-midnight (lounge until 2am), closed Mondays.
• Sunset marina views from the outdoor tables are the reason to book ahead rather than walk in.
