Beachfront Tex-Mex on Grace Bay, $12 margaritas
Somewhere Café & Lounge sits right on the sand at Coral Gardens Resort, close enough to Grace Bay Beach that people barely leave the water to eat here. It works as much as a beach bar as a restaurant, serving guest-chef-inspired Tex-Mex from breakfast through dinner.
$12 margarita specials and big-game screenings are half the draw. Desserts are made in-house, not shipped in, and the kitchen stays open until 10pm most nights.
Good to know
- Open daily 8:30am-11:30pm, kitchen closes at 10pm, one of the later closing times on the beach.
- Weekly margarita specials run $12; it doubles as a beach bar as much as a restaurant.

We had an amazing honeymoon vacation in Turks and Caicos Islands and this oceanfront restaurant was one of the highlights of our trip. The beachfront setting was absolutely beautiful, with stunning views that made every meal feel special. The food was delicious and fresh. What truly made the experience memorable was the excellent service!!! So friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Turks and Caicos especially after snorkeling!!! We look forward to returning on a future trip!

Great spot for a sunset dinner in Turks & Caicos! The food was excellent, I had the steak fajitas and they were full of flavor. Just a heads up that the spice level can be a little much for some people, but they’re happy to leave off the jalapeños if you prefer it milder. Junior behind the bar was fantastic, really talented mixologist and made great drinks. Overall, great food, great atmosphere, and an awesome place to enjoy the sunset. There was live music both nights we went.

While visiting the Turk and Caicos, we came to this cafe for lunch after snorkeling at the coral garden. The restaurant is literally in front of the snorkeling area, practically on the beach. The atmosphere was awesome. There was live music when we were visiting. The service the prompt and the food was served faster than other restaurants that we visited. We had the jerk chicken and the whole snapper with curry. Delicious. Perfect location to grab a drink or lunch after snorkeling!

We didn’t have the chance to try the food, but everything else at Somewhere Cafe was fantastic. The space was clean, service was attentive, and the drinks were delicious. The beachside atmosphere really stands out, and the reef right in front is perfect for snorkeling and unwinding.

The service is island time. So you need to be patient. I'm from NYC so it takes a bit to adjust to island time. The view is like no other. It's right on the beach. I was on the second floor so got a great view. I ordered the chicken tacos. It was okay. The frozen strawberry daiquiri was also just okay. The sweet potato fries were good. Portions are large. I took the remaining taco home. Come here for the view. Not food or drink.
