Grace Bay's new sushi and cocktail room

Chef Wellington runs the kitchen at Ellipse Resort's flagship restaurant, and the sushi is what people talk about first. The dinner menu goes well beyond raw fish, but that's where to start.

It sits inside the resort in the heart of Grace Bay, close enough to walk from most of the strip. The resort itself only opened this year, so Salina is still building its name off word of mouth.

Good to know

  • The sushi gets singled out more than anything else on the menu, tempura rolls especially.
  • It's inside a brand-new resort, so book direct through Ellipse until it shows up on the usual reservation platforms.

Absolutely amazing service and delicious food! The Chef came out to ask us how we enjoyed our dinner. Top notch service!

The salmon nigiri and samurai shrimp are incredible and very filling. 8 pieces of salmon nigiri for very reasonable price, given it tasted excellent. Rahul and Prabhakar were awesome. The chowder was tasty and very filling. 2 sushi rolls and chowder is more than enough for a couple. We got 3 sushi rolls and couldn’t finish so we shared with the rest of the table. The chocolate cake was great too. We were a group of 13 and they were able to accommodate us outdoors. Great vibes

I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday eve at Salina Restaurant at The Ellipse, and it was truly a wonderful dining experience. As a solo diner, I sat at the bar and was warmly welcomed by Mayur, who made my evening extra special. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and engaging. We had great conversations, and it was nice getting to know a little about each other throughout the night. His exceptional hospitality made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. I started with the seafood chowder, followed by the salmon dinner, and both were delicious. The dinner rolls were a lovely touch, especially the cheese roll, which was my favorite. I also enjoyed two cocktails. While I can't remember their names, I asked Mayur to surprise me with something unique, and he absolutely delivered. The custom drink he created was delicious and perfectly suited to my taste. To top it all off, the staff surprised me with a slice of cake for my birthday, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made the evening even more memorable. The restaurant itself has a beautiful, elegant atmosphere, and I also noticed they have a lovely space available for private dining and special occasions. Overall, from the food and drinks to the outstanding service, made for a fantastic experience. I left feeling celebrated, appreciated, and already looking forward to my next visit. Thank you, Mayur, and the entire Salina team. I'll definitely be back! 💕🎂🍷

Salina was an absolute standout during our stay in Turks and Caicos. From the moment we walked in, the ambience set the tone for the evening — warm lighting, ocean breeze, and a laid-back yet elevated island elegance that made it easy to relax and enjoy the night. The food was exceptional across the board. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and beautifully balanced flavors — you can tell the kitchen takes real pride in what they serve. A huge highlight of the night was our waiter, Prabhakar. His service was attentive without ever being intrusive, and he brought genuine warmth and great recommendations to the table. He made the whole experience feel personal and effortless — the kind of service that turns a great meal into a memorable one. We also found out Salina has a sister restaurant, The Daily, and had to check it out for breakfast — and it did not disappoint. The breakfast was just as exceptional as dinner at Salina, making it clear this is a team that cares about consistency and quality across the board.
