Sunset Cove's seafood tower and raw bar, sand underfoot

The hot and cold seafood tower is the order here, piled high enough to anchor a table of four. Chef Andrew Mirosch works fresh, never-frozen fish alongside in-house aged steaks, a different lane than Wymara's other two restaurants.

Char-grilled blackened grouper gets equal billing with the New Zealand black Angus cuts. It's open-air, right on Sunset Cove Beach, with a raw bar big enough to make this a destination and not just a resort add-on.

Good to know

• It's a seven-minute drive from the main Wymara Resort on Grace Bay, not walkable, so plan the taxi.
• The char-grilled blackened grouper is the one dish that shows up in nearly every review.
