South Bank Resort

A marina resort on Provo's kite coast, built around boat houses, not a beach
Skip Grace Bay. South Bank sits on Long Bay, the shallow-flats side of Providenciales where the trade winds run steady and kiteboarders rule the water. Most of the 92 units, split between Boat Houses, Lagoon Villas, Ocean Estate residences and the Ridge, open straight onto the marina instead of sand.
Rates start around $888 a night, and the place carries Small Luxury Hotels of the World status. A next phase called Arc will stack 17 sky villas with private pools above the existing complex.
Good to know
- Long Bay is the kiteboarding side of Provo - shallow, windy, and nothing like Grace Bay.
- The Boat Houses sit directly on the marina; the Lagoon Villas have their own water access.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at South Bank Resort with a friend and the experience exceeded every expectation! From the beginning, the level of service was nothing short of impeccable. The administrative team ensured that every detail of the reservation and arrival was seamless, setting the tone for a truly relaxing stay! What stood out the most, however, was the staff - whether it was front desk, with housekeeping or in the dining area. Tracey, Recep and Jovan created a team that consistently created a welcoming and personalized experience. Make sure you get a perfectly curated drink from Bishop! The resort itself is stunning, but the people truly make it special. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking not just luxury accommodations, but a level of service that truly sets a good standard.

Fantastic resort! Private luxury villa. Elegant. Beautiful. An exceptional holiday experience! If you want a 5-Star experience without the crowd, this is the place for you Downsides: - Pool is very small - Front desk staff could have been way more helpful with given information on local tours incudes of just handing out a generic brochure and saying “We recommend these guys” (and the company that they recommended had a non-working phone anyway) - walls are thin and the stairs are wooden so you will hear your neighbors trotting up and down - Beach on the north of the island (Grace Bay Beach) is nicer and easier to access. Their beach is not bad but it was no Grace Bay Upsides: - Beautiful Villa - same price as a room at the Ritz which was waaaay smaller - sea turtles in your back yard! - full kitchen - washed and dryer in unit - 10 minute drive to Grace Bay - no crowds Would we stay here again? -YES

We had an amazing time at Southbank. Everyone we encountered was fabulous. Customer service top notch. We thank everyone for making our stay one to remember. We hope to visit again soon! Personal thanks to Joseph who made our daily breakfast incredible-request him for sure! Also Joan and Marjorie always there to help us with a smile and a very kind hello. Supervisor Craig- so friendly both at the pool and beach gave us valuable tips about all things Turks. Tarneisha, who first greeted us and checked us in took so much time to explain and provide everything to make us comfortable during our stay. I save the best customer service experience for the end. Rachelle, the manager could have not been more accommodating. She certainly went the extra mile to provide us great comfort during our stay. We had a small hiccup during our stay, and she did not stop until it was resolved(stayed well past her time to leave for the day). South Bank is quiet and relaxing, just what you need to get away from the everyday stresses. Hugs to everyone from the Willman family.

The resort exceeded our expectations. The units are very large 3-story townhouses with 2 bedrooms, 3 baths, full-sized kitchen, and upstairs patio overlooking harbour. Pool was terrific. Food was terrific. Spa great too. There's a lagoon with beach instead of an ocean beach and it's far from any shops, so four stars for location.

Hilton affiliated property, we have never been to Turks before and we are so lucky to have landed here! It was gorgeous, quiet, and the staff were wonderful. The complimentary breakfast was phenomenal and you could easily stay on property or explore depending on what kind of trip you wanted. They have a temp controlled pool, beach access, and a lagoon with turtles. I believe it's a newer property which can sometimes be on a learning curve, but this property has everything organized and perfect which is additionally impressive if it is a newer property. You won't be disappointed here! It's 10 minutes from touristy activities and shops and is easy to get to. We also felt very safe! Thanks South Bank for a great stay!
