I wish we had found The Strand upon booking. Maybe next trip! We did get to experience breakfast at Del Mar and will be back a couple times this week. The grounds are breathtaking. And the employees are so friendly, but not in a “have to be friendly” way. They genuinely wanted to talk, share their experiences of the island, culture, and cared about our thoughts. The employees really showed a love for their job and made our experience special were Ethan, Gilly, and Desirae. I hope they are recognized for how their presence adds to the charm of this gorgeous property.

Wow. An extremely dreamy stay at The Strand, from the beautiful rooms to the scenery and privacy at this intimate luxury resort. If you are looking for a more isolated, private feel in the island then this is defiantly the place for you! All staff were amazing, from daily updates to organising reservations, drivers, excursions throughout our stay through a messaging group. A big shoutout to the concierge team, especially Gilly, Desiráe, Ghans + Gabrielle! The poolside/ beach area was a surreal setting, very private very few people each day giving you a real villa feel to our stay. Each day being greeted by Wendy a wonderful lady who looked after us most days of our stay, always making sure we were well, hydrated and happy! The food was very tasteful, even with a smaller variety of choice it still offered a luxurious menu style. Which leads me to another shoutout to Ben the manager of the restaurant for welcoming us to dine and making the efforts of stopping for a chat when we’d cross paths. The resort is set about 15 minutes ride away from the main area of resorts/ shops and places to eat along Grace Bay Beach. The hotel arranged us with a Driver, a big shout out to Ajay, who made us feel safe and made each ride a great one! Bringing joy and tremendous vibes to each day while providing a drop off and pick up service which was very handy especially when limited transport options are available on the island. Thank you very much for your service, kindness and great vibes, will be sure to be back and riding again with AJC Transport! I cannot fault a thing, it’s still fairly new and like any new development it will only get better and I look forward to returning back already! Friendly people, beautiful ocean views and unreal tastes of the Caribbean..what more could you ask for! Thank you for everything + everyone at The Strand - See you again soon!

I only came to dinner at Delmar. But the entire space of this hotel is something special. Definitely different from the rest of the island. I feel it’s a mix of the Caribbean and Hawaii! The dinner was so amazing. After dinner I went for a walk and ended up cutting my foot pretty badly. The staff there went above and beyond helping me. One of the managers even called the emergency room to be sure I was getting check up! I’d go back again and again

We had a great stay and truly enjoyed the hotel. The property is very new, beautifully designed, and impeccably clean. The facilities are excellent, from the rooms to the gym and common areas. The beach is private, peaceful, and absolutely stunning, with crystal-clear water. We also noticed that the weather seemed consistently better here compared to Grace Bay during our stay, which made the experience even more special. The restaurant was very good, and the service there was friendly, especially from Poohi, who was wonderful. We recommend making a reservation in advance for dinner, as it can get busy and availability is limited, even for hotel guests. The beach and pool bar service was very disappointing and did not match the level of the rest of the hotel. This unfortunately impacted our overall experience and is the main reason for the 4-star rating. Wendy was the exception, her service was impeccable, always warm, positive, and genuinely welcoming. She made a big difference in our moments at the beach. When Wendy is not there, however, the experience changes significantly. The service becomes very poor, with staff often appearing rude or disengaged. At times, interactions felt unwelcoming, with dismissive attitudes that made simple requests uncomfortable. This is especially noticeable given the level of the hotel and its pricing, as guests expect a consistently high standard of service. Aside from this, everything else was excellent, and with improvements in service at the bar, this could easily be a 5-star experience.
