Wax-print dresses, bags and rugs made in house by five tailors

Everything on the racks here gets made behind the shop, not shipped in. Five tailors and five rug makers turn African wax print into dresses, shirts, bags, cushions and rugs, which makes this feel more like a workshop's storefront than a regular boutique.

The shop sits in The Kurb on Bukoto Street in Kisementi, next to cafés, a salon and a few other small shops. There's a second location in Entebbe, useful if shopping only crosses your mind on the way to the airport.

Good to know

The Kurb sits just behind Acacia Mall; the shop is on an upper floor.
They will make to measure in their own prints if you are in Kampala for a few days.

Such a cute store! The clothes and rugs here are so beautiful. If you buy anything here, highly recommend the handmade beautiful rugs. Quality here is amazing and the owners are nice. If you are around the acacia mall highly recommend stopping by
