Beyond Proof
★ 4.3 · 44 reviews Boston Opened April 2026
Zero-proof bar on Centre Street, open since April 2026.
Beyond Proof opened on Centre Street in April 2026 serving nothing alcoholic at all, a genuine bet in a city with Boston's drinking culture. The drinks are built like cocktails, not sold as substitutes for them.
It fills with people who wanted a bar, not a coffee shop. Open later than any cafe in JP.

Lovely atmosphere, refreshing drinks, uplifting vibe. Felt really good to "drink" without alcohol. We even got a placebo-buzz! My friend brought her baby and the owner (or at least cocktail-deviser) was so kind and accommodating.

The food here is delicious! We got the sampler tower and each item was unique and tasty. Their Lebanese bread comes with it and it's very yummy. We got the lamb and apricot bowl and it was also very flavorful and came with more bread! The drinks are made with 0% alcohol which I'm not used to and was definitely an adjustment. Would recommend coming here more for the food than the drinks. The ambiance was also great! I'm very impressed with the renovations they did. Very cozy and chic. Will definitely come back!

I was with three friends and we had a wonderfully intimate dining and drinking experience. The roasted grapes and whipped feta was my favorite on the menu for food. The Settle was my highlight for drinks with balsamic salt, are you kidding me? Delicious! Highly recommend for a night out with friends when you want an elevated dining experience. KK the owner was incredibly welcoming.

Beyond Proof is an intimate small restaurant with hardly ten tables. The place was a bit too loud for my taste - could do with a bit of sound dampening. The service was great. But in terms of food - it was a bit mixed. The absolute highlight was the roasted grapes with whipped feta! It was sweet and savoury and nutty - all at the same time. The smoke and bread and market platter were mostly tasty - nothing to rave about. The accompanying bread was delicious. We got the chicken soup packed because we were a bit full. When we had it at home after 2 hrs or so, it tasted horribly wrong and we threw out the entire thing. The desserts were divine - sticky cake and knafeh! The cocktails were a bit of a let down. We ordered 4 and none of them were amazing.

So excited to see zero proof bar happening in Boston! Great ambiance! The house bread and lamb stew were so delicious!
