Bey

★ 4.9 · 156 reviews Boston Opened May 2026

Lebanese cooking on Shawmut Avenue, open since May 2026.

Bey opened on the quiet Shawmut Avenue side of the South End in May 2026, away from the Tremont Street run of restaurants. The kitchen works through mezze first and grills second, which is the right order to eat in.

Go with four people so you can cover the cold mezze properly. Two people will end up with three dishes and regret.

Bey is truly one of Boston's hidden gems. From the moment you walk through the door, you're welcomed into a beautiful, warm, and thoughtfully designed space that perfectly blends elegance with comfort. The ambiance alone makes it worth the visit, but it's the food and hospitality that truly set this restaurant apart. Every dish we ordered was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, showcasing fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and incredible attention to detail. It's clear that a great deal of passion goes into every plate. The service was equally impressiveattentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling rushed. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Bey delivers on every level. Outstanding food, exceptional service, and a stunning atmosphere make this a restaurant I'll be recommending to everyone. Boston is lucky to have a place like this. I can't wait to return!

Bey was a fantastic dining experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The standout for me was the branzino. It was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and one of the best I’ve ever had. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients in every dish and the drinks are next level! If you’re looking for authentic Lebanese cuisine with excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend giving Bey a try. I’ll definitely be back!

I don't usually write reviews about a restaurant, but I had to write about this wonderful experience. The beef tartare was the highlight, but that doesn't mean the other dishes weren't good. Everything I ate was top notch, our service was incredible (thanks Izar), and the overall experience was one in which will bring me back. Also, while I didn't inquire about it, there are members who are Palestinian 🇵🇸. I will be back soon with more friends and family soon!

Excellent. The room is beautiful, the food - is very good (I would tweak a few things) - overall a great addition. I especially enjoyed the shish taouk with the toum easy to make but hard to perfect. Bravo Bey.

My first visit to Bey completely exceeded my expectations. The space is absolutely stunning; every detail is so thoughtfully designed and creates such a warm, beautiful atmosphere that you feel as if you’re on vacation! It was my first time trying Lebanese food, and I was blown away. The fresh, house made pita with the hummus flight was incredible, but the octopus was hands down my favorite dish. It was perfectly cooked and one of the best I've ever had. For drinks, the Lemonana is a must try it’s my absolute favorite! Congratulations on creating such a special place. I can't wait to be back soon!
