Bill Kim's noodle shop returns, this time in Fulton Market

Bill Kim ran Urbanbelly in Wicker Park for a decade before closing it in spring 2026. Six weeks later, on May 13, it reopened in Fulton Market with Cornerstone Restaurant Group and Taratsa Hospitality, the same neighborhood where Kim's cooking once lived at BellyQ.

The menu made the move largely intact. Bao buns, spicy katsu ramen, Korean fried chicken, coconut curry pho, udon with bulgogi. The new room adds a 12-seat bar and a 40-seat patio, plus a lunch menu priced for the office crowd nearby.
