Late-night papaya salad and curries on Taylor Street
Medee opened a Taylor Street branch in July 2026, bringing one of the city's better casual Thai kitchens into Little Italy. The menu holds to the original: papaya salad pounded to order, curries, noodles.
The kitchen runs until 12:30am. On a stretch where the Italian-American dining rooms shut early, that makes Medee the default late option.

amazing food!! we got the tom kha soup, pad thai with tofu, and pad kee mao with tofu. everything was delicious and flavorful. staff was super friendly! i noticed their menu has a lot of options so i can’t wait to try more items :)

Your perfect order: 1. Basil Fried Rice with crab 2. Crispy Pork belly salad 3. Crisp Diet Coke I can’t be happier that this place opened up on Taylor! Will definitely be coming back soon.

The food was absolutely delicious!! Great portions for an amazing price. I took half my plate home for dinner! The Thai Iced Tea is to die for. Apart from this, the service was just great. She was so kind and gracious. I will definitely be back 🥰.
