Everyday

The barista knows every bean's farm by heart

At Everyday the barista can tell you which farm the beans came from without checking a card. It's a single-origin coffee shop first, inside the Lava Wellness Center at Piikoi and South King.

Everyday opened in September 2025 in the space the old Bakery & Table used to occupy. Honolulu Magazine's Frolic team gave it a full writeup as the debut of a new cafe column. It's small, so expect to stand for a to-go drink during the morning rush.

Place is great and has potential. I’m only giving it a low rating to draw the attention of the owners/managers and will be happy to change it as soon as a comment has been made. If the place is slow this might help. If you want a busy cafe I’d make some of the tables larger for sitting ground of 3-4+. I’d make sure there a lot more outlets for people to do work on. Most of the space is taken by a large communal section in the middle of the (large coffee table surrounded by 2 couches and two solo arm chairs). The space is too far away for parties to talk to each other across the coffee table. So most of the space is being taken by a section that isn’t conductive to working or being in a group. Groups don’t like to sit side by side on a large couch, they like to be facing each other so they can cross communicate. Strangers are also unlikely to want to sit on a couch next to other strangers so it creates a space that rarely gets used. Also only 2 tables have outlets. If you want a collection of nice professionals, get WiFi, way more outlets, fix the seating. The largest table that has the constructed corner seats with the floor outlets is the best one.

I was a little apprehensive with some of the mixed reviews, but I’m so happy we gave Everyday a try! My flat white was great, and my gal’s matcha with coconut milk was really good too. Yes it’s a little more expensive than some places. But the quality seems there, and the environment is nice as well. The only thing is that it was HOT. Like hotter inside than outside. Once they get that sorted out, this will be a 5/5 spot!

This is the best cafe on island! They have amazing matcha and coffee. My new favorite place 😍

I love popping in for a visit whenever I have a chance. Definitely my new fave spot in town! Smoothies are next level - SO GOOD. I had the peanut butter without maple syrup and it was perfection. Can’t wait to try the others soon. Love the hojicha as well. The space is gorgeous. It’s a great place to get some quiet time, but also open, spacious and a lot of fun for my toddler to wander around. Elise & Kristen couldn’t be sweeter. There’s a small parking lot off of Alohi, and I’ve usually found parking there, but I believe there’s also more parking off of King (?)

If you’re looking for amazing matcha in Hawaiʻi, this coffee shop is a must-visit. Their matcha is incredibly smooth and perfectly balanced, —honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. You can tell they use high-quality tea because every cup tastes fresh and earthy without being bitter. Another huge bonus (especially for Hawaiʻi!) is the parking. There’s plenty of it, it’s super easy to get in and out, and you’re not circling the lot for ten minutes hoping someone pulls out. That alone makes the experience even better. Great drinks, great service, and stress-free parking—can’t ask for more. Highly recommend! 🌺☕️
