Iwilei doesn't have much of a cafe scene of its own, mostly warehouses and big-box parking lots. That makes a coffee counter here worth a special stop.

Sip Cafe opened on Dillingham Boulevard in January 2026, part of a run of new cafes and restaurants that opened across O'ahu that same month. It's a straightforward espresso-and-pastry operation. The kind of neighborhood opening that doesn't make headlines, but fills a real gap on that stretch of Dillingham.

Drinks were high quality, fast service and friendly staff. The banh mi was fresh and crisp. Definitely one of the better cafes on island. The cashier was very charismatic and welcoming 😂.

good strong delicious coffee! not pictured, but i also tried their matcha yuzu which was so refreshing. it is small inside so be prepared for that!

saw this place on tik tok and decided to stop by and try it out. unfortunately the drink looked better than it tasted as the banana cream matcha was slightly too sweet and the banana flavor was too artificial. it tasted like a banana hi-chew candy which overpowered the matcha.
