Key West's tallest 1926 landmark, freshly redone
Tennessee Williams finished A Streetcar Named Desire in one of its rooms, and the steel frame that made La Concha the island's first near-fireproof building still towers over Duval Street. A multi-million-dollar restoration brought it back New Year's Day 2025 with a midcentury-Cuban look, 160 rooms, 14 suites and seven new rooftop Grand Dame Villas under Marriott's Autograph Collection.
Downstairs runs three places at once, all facing the street as much as the lobby: mojitos at Tropicado, Cuban food at Perla, coffee at El Dom Cafe. Head up to the three-level rooftop for the pool, the bar and the hammocks everyone photographs.

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at La Concha Hotel in Key West this past weekend. From the moment I arrived, the service was outstanding and the atmosphere made the trip feel special. The hotel itself is beautiful, perfectly located, and full of Key West charm. Everything about the stay felt relaxing, comfortable, and well taken care of. A special thank-you goes to our personal concierge Jennifer. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed and taken care of. Her attention to detail, kindness, and helpful attitude truly stood out. I also want to recognize Paul, the general manager, for the special treatment and hospitality. It is clear that he takes pride in making guests feel valued, and that level of leadership shows throughout the hotel. La Concha made this Key West weekend memorable, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay with exceptional service. I will definitely be back. Rooms are smaller but the location of the hotel to just about everything we wanted to do was worth it! Pool was nice. Not sure why so many chairs were “reserved” for people who never came but overall nice umbrellas to offer some shade. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend to stay here.

The lobby bar and restaurant create a fun and lively atmosphere, making it a great place to relax, socialize, and soak in the island vibe. The hotel's location is absolutely perfect. Situated right in the heart of Key West, it allows you to easily explore the city, enjoy the local attractions, and experience the incredible nightlife and evening atmosphere just steps from your room. What truly sets this hotel apart is its outstanding team. Every staff member was warm, professional, and genuinely friendly. A special thank you to Jennifer Robino, whose attention to detail and personalized service made our stay truly special. We are also incredibly grateful to Paul, who went above and beyond to ensure my birthday celebration was exceptional, memorable, and filled with wonderful surprises. Their dedication to guest satisfaction made us feel like valued family members rather than hotel guests. After several visits to Key West, we can confidently say that La Concha is the only hotel we choose to stay at. The hotel is in a GREAT location! Right off duval, we parked our car at the hotel lot and never had to use it the whole time we were there. We either walked or biked to everything! The hotel offers complimentary bikes that were so nice and convenient! Loved the lobby area, looks so nice! Our room was on the third floor. We visited Key West in June where it is in the 90s during the day. When we got back to our room the first day we had the AC set to 68 and it would not get lower then 75. After walking around, exploring in the heat all day all we wanted was to be able to cool off. We gave it some time but before we went to sleep we called down and they sent someone up who was so nice but couldn’t fix the AC problem so he brought us a box fan. I am so so grateful he was at least able to offer that. The temperature in the lobby vs when you stepped off the elevator onto our floor was very noticeable. Our room was very nice, had a mini fridge, bathroom and shower were great. The only complaint I have is the AC which is pretty significant especially when traveling to South Florida, it was pretty uncomfortable. If the AC was fixed I would 100% stay here again and give it a 10/10!

Such an amazing stay, me and my girlfriend were staying here for our anniversary and Aphrodite from the front desk made out stay so amazing. The rooms are so cozy warm and clean. The food is SOOOOO good and the bar made it even better. Hands down one of the best places to stay in the key. Also the location can't be beat, I'm talking supper convenient and a few minutes walk from anywhere in key West. 6/5 would stay again.
