Fishwife Restaurant & Raw Bar

Fresh oysters and cocktails on Key West's restaurant row

Skip straight to the raw bar. Fishwife does oysters and fresh local seafood the coastal way, with cocktails that hold their own against the shellfish.

It's the newer sibling of The Docks Restaurant + Raw Bar on Stock Island, same ownership, same eye for seafood. Petronia Street is packed with options, but this one's easy to spot by the raw bar crowd out front.

Fishwife was one of our favorite finds in Key West! 🐟🌴 The location is fantastic—right on Petronia Street in Old Town, close enough to walk from Duval but tucked away enough that it feels a little removed from the busiest tourist areas. (Fishwife Restaurant & Raw Bar) The decor and atmosphere are awesome. It has a really cool, polished coastal/island style while still feeling casual and very Key West. The space has tons of character, and the upstairs and outdoor areas give it an especially fun vibe. (OpenTable) We had the Snapper Sammy and corn cake, and both were excellent—the snapper was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the corn cake was a standout. We finished with dessert, which was the perfect ending. Great food, cool decor, great location, and a laid-back atmosphere. Definitely put Fishwife on your Key West list! 🐠🍹

Oysters were the best we had during our trip to Key West. The Figs in a Blanket was also incredible! Wish we were hungrier so we could have tried the whole menu. The prices are on the high end, but we think it was well worth it for great quality and more elevated flavor profiles compared to other places we dined at. Looking forward to returning to Fishwife during our next visit.

Oh My God!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely INCREDIBLE ! The food was outstanding. I have never, ever tasted fish this fresh. Every dish was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The quality of the seafood is exceptional, and you can truly taste how fresh everything is. The service was excellent, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. Without a doubt, one of the best seafood restaurants we’ve ever been to. Highly recommend Fishwife to anyone looking for amazing, fresh seafood! A SPECIAL THANK YOU FOR THE AMAZING DRINKS

I was on a Dinner date here. We were given a corner table inside the restaurant. There were not a lot of people inside but just a few people at the bar. Yet the restaurant sounded like there were many people. We ordered lobster bites to share which I liked for its uniqueness. The sauce to go with it made it taste better. For entree one of us ordered sword fish with basmati rice and lentil curry to go with it. I don’t eat red lentils. Thus the waiter was kind to check with chef and make the same curry with blank lentils. This was really unexpected and came a a good surprise when someone goes a little extra to make your experience better. Was so thankful we tried this dish as was delicious and the rice was cooked to perfection. The fish I felt was a little harder than soft. Coconut chutney pairing was great. We also got the snapper with beets risotto. Loved the snapper was so delicious fresh and tender. Beets risotto was also good to go with the fish. Overall our visit to fishwife was good and we were had a good evening dinner time.

As a local here in Key West, I was so excited for Fishwife to open! My boyfriend and I love The Docks in Stock Island, so we couldn't wait to try their sister restaurant. We finally made it there this past weekend, and it did not disappoint! The inside is adorable with a classy island vibe that feels welcoming and relaxed. We went during happy hour, and they had some great specials. Everything we ordered was delicious! My favorites were the Disco Fries, Lobster Rangoon Dip, and BBQ Ahi Tuna, but every dish was really good. There were a few of my favorite items from The Docks menu that I wanted like the Figs in a Blanket and the Snapper Philly but didn't order cause wanted room to try the new stuff. The drinks were great! I had the Red Bell Paloma (SO good!), and my friend ordered the Summer Fling. Both were refreshing and not overly sweet, which is exactly how we like our cocktails. The food, drinks, atmosphere, and service made for a great afternoon. We'll definitely be back!
