Giotto Maestro della Pizza
★ 5.0 · 23 reviews Miami Opened July 2026
The West Avenue pizzeria opens a second room downtown.
Giotto built its name on West Avenue in South Beach before opening this downtown branch in July 2026, on the stretch of NE 16th Street between the Arts & Entertainment District and Edgewater.
The pizza leans Neapolitan, the pasta list is short, and the wine list is Italian throughout. Reservations are taken by phone only, which says something about how the place is run.

Stopped by for a first date, and this turned out to be the perfect place. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, making it easy to relax over a glass of wine and enjoy the evening. We both ordered pasta, and it exceeded our expectations. It was cooked perfectly, and made with fresh ingredients. From the food to the ambiance, everything came together for a great experience. I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu. A special thank you to our waiter, Daniel, who made the night effortless with his excellent service!

Just cane from a 2 week trip to Rome, Italy where I must've eaten pizza at least 5 time, great pizzas over there. As I am back my fiance tells me she wants to check this place out which is right at our building. I was reluctant because why would I want to eat pizza after my trip to Italy?...We'll, thank goodness I did not push back hard enough because we ended up coming here and the pizza we had rivals or is better than what I had in Rome. We had the one with prosciutto, orangutan and tomatoes. Best pizza I've had in Miami.
