Kevin Kelley's Southern comfort-food room, Miami edition
Kevin Kelley built Kitchen + Kocktails in Dallas and Chicago before bringing it to Wynwood on 17 January 2026. The menu is unapologetically Southern (fried chicken, seafood boils, mac and cheese ordered by the side) served in a room built for long tables and louder music than the food strictly needs.
It is a chain in the technical sense and a rarity in practice: a Black-owned dining brand of this scale opening in Wynwood at all. Dinner runs late; brunch is the busier service.

I’ll start off by saying that whoever curated the menu knew EXACTLY what they were doing. 🔥 My table ordered a variety of items and not one thing was bad. I was pleasantly surprised by the collard green dip. The location is beautiful with a ton of photo opps if you’re looking for content. Our server was really great as well. She was answered all of our questions and made great recs to enhance our experience.

An absolutely unforgettable night at Kitchen & Kocktails. My visit to the Miami location this past Friday (July 17, 2026) was beyond amazing from start to finish. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, the food was cooked to perfection, and the cocktails were expertly crafted, every detail felt intentional. What truly made the evening special was our server, Daryle W. He was attentive without being intrusive, made thoughtful recommendations, and brought a warmth and professionalism that elevated the entire experience. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests. If you’re in Miami and looking for exceptional food, incredible drinks, and top-tier service, K Kitchen & Cocktails needs to be at the top of your list. I’ll absolutely be back and I’ll be asking for Daryle! Thank you for a five-star experience. 🌟

Everything about this spot was very nice! The service was 10/10 everybody was friendly and nice. The environment was very nice & very aesthetically pleasing. Food was also 10/10! Our server Destiny was very nice and amazing. She gave us recommendations as this was our first time here. Definitely come here!
