Tennessee whiskey bar in a glass passageway
Middleman does what its name says. It's the covered passage between Momotaro and Alla Vita on Houston Street, a glass atrium with mismatched furniture and a bar built around Tennessee whiskey. Cocktails come with dry rubs, pickled vegetables and other things you'd expect on a plate rather than in a glass.
It opened in June 2026 alongside both neighbors. Good as a first drink before a sushi reservation, or as the place you land when neither kitchen has a table.

Came for the opening night and had an amazing time. The drinks were great and the atmosphere was great and the dj they had (soul69) did an amazing job keeping everyone grooving and playing some really good music. Definitely would come back for the music and drinks

Really great concept cocktail bar. All owned by the same restaurant group, Middleman sits betwixt Momotaro and Alla Vista. Visit all three without stepping outside. Ask for Noah

Nice addition to WiHo. Absolutely a cool place to grab a drink and service was fantastic. I didn't like that they don't validate parking. The prices of drinks in Nashville including this venue are so out of control at $18 average per beverage and the liquor tax is painful.
