Strega opened on Gallatin Avenue in August 2025, run by a couple with Nashville history on both sides, one out of Rosemary & Beauty Queen and one out of City Winery. They wanted a bar for the neighborhood rather than a destination, and it reads that way.

Pool tables sit under a pergola, the playlist is rock, the cocktails lean Italian, and aperitivo hour brings savory cannoli. Weeknights are the sweet spot.

A cool, convenient, and affordable place to hangout. Nice to have plenty of areas to socialize with friends inside and out as well as have an affordable menu that doesn’t have downtown options. All new bars should take notes. This is how you build clientele.

I got to attend a private event upstairs and I was blown away! Everything was absolutely delicious, the meatballs were perfect. The staff was welcoming and it was a beautiful space. Definitely coming back just to hang out and eat here again.

What an incredible surprise of a bar! I was hunting for french fries or tots, whatever warm vegan thing I could get my hands on. I wasn't too sure about this place, but the person outside mentioned the snacks... I felt so lucky, like I discovered something. A spicy vegan flatbread for $12. I should have taken a picture of that thing, because it really was 60-70% of the size of a full large pizza. And it was perfect, everything I was hoping for and more. I was pretty checked out of all the conversations around me for awhile, I can't lie. I left with a huge smile on my face. I meant to grab some Starbursts from the vending machine with all the cool stuff in it on my way out, but I guess I'll have to visit again for that x)

We had the pleasure of stopping in tonight, a random Tuesday. We were greeted right away by Seth and Elijah, who were super friendly. We ordered drinks and a pizza and sat outside on the patio. It is a very nice set up with a huge TV, pool and darts. Elijah brought our pizza out when it was ready and it was amazing! It was cooked perfectly and the sauce was spectacular! We are from out-of-town and visit often. Strega is now on our list of "must-do" when we are here. Thank you so much, Seth and Elijah!
