A real cocktail lounge in a former Subway
The Hitchcock opened in January 2026 in the Hitchcock Building on Church Street, in a space that was previously a Subway. Nothing about the dim, glitzy room admits to that history.
Drinks are properly built. The El Baron mixes aguardiente, cachaça, pandan and pistachio milk, which reads absurd and lands well. It is one of the few downtown bars where you can hear the person across the table.

Best kept secret in Nashville. Awesome bartenders and while they have nice signature drinks, they are excellent at making custom cocktails. Tasty bar bites make for a great way to cap the evening. Our favorite "go to" when in Nashville.

I cannot recommend this place more!!! The staff are so easy to work with and the space is so cool! We hosted an 80 person event and had more than enough room to feel comfortable
