Nashville's first handroll bar, inside L&L Market
The chef behind Ricey & Co and downtown's Skye Lounge took over the old Culture + Co counter inside L&L Market and turned it into the city's first dedicated handroll bar in June 2026. Rolls are built one at a time in front of you: scallop, salmon, eel, spicy tuna, nori still crackling.
It's a counter, not a restaurant, so treat it as a fast lunch or a stop before dinner somewhere else on Charlotte Avenue. Kardes and Pont Neuf share the same building.

As good as I hoped. Everything was very fresh. (Fish is flown in from Japan and Spain) The flavors all harmonized without any one thing overpowering. The Kimono set was a terrific sampler of 6 hand rolls, and a good deal to boot. The baked crab was tasty but used imitation crab. The snow crab was much better, real crab with a nice citrus hint. The tuna, salmon, and yellowtail were all perfect. Definitely recommend this place, I will be back

Hattori Nori Hand Roll Bar is an incredible addition to Nashvilleâs dining scene! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is modern, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. Every hand roll was exceptionally fresh, beautifully prepared, and packed with flavor. You can truly taste the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in every bite.
