Fine dining where McCabe's Pub used to be

Sylvan Park lost McCabe's Pub and got Lion's Share in April 2026, a trade the neighborhood wasn't expecting. Deep cognac leather banquettes, wood-paneled nooks, oysters and crudo to start, and a bone-in strip loin off the wood fire built for two to share.

Happy hour at the bar runs 4pm to 5:30pm with eight-dollar martinis, the cheapest way into a room like this. The $18 burger on Mondays is bar-only.

Food was fantastic. Service was outstanding. There was always someone around to get you another drink , fill up your water glass. Friendly and attentive staff.

I would highly recommend Lion’s Share to anyone. I’ve been twice now—once for a regular dinner and once for a private event with a set menu—and both experiences were exceptional. The grilled avocado, agnolotti, and desserts were all standouts, and every dish was beautifully prepared. The food, service, and atmosphere are truly outstanding. What impressed me most, though, was the private event. The pacing of each course was flawless, the food was incredible, and the service was impeccable. The staff made the entire evening feel thoughtful and special without ever feeling overdone. On top of that, the pricing was very reasonable for the quality of the experience. I would recommend Lion’s Share for any occasion, but if you’re planning a private event or celebration, I don’t think there’s a better choice in town.

This place is great. Not sure why they don't have more reviews. Maybe because it was easy to get a reservation and people want to keep it like that?! Regardless - I would go back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend. Great drinks, service, and food. Parking - use their (very large) lot and scan the code INSIDE the building. Wasn't super clear but I saw a bad review about it and it scared me a little. It was VERY easy / no issue at all.

Had a magical dinner with friends here - service was amazing, the menu was interesting & executed so well, and the atmosphere felt like a cozy restaurant in some European countryside village. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful space. Way over the top prices, food was good, but will not make it in this location. I understand why there were many empty tables. I hope they make the adjustments to be part of the community. They have great potential- but I will not return until they address the crazy parking and provide reasonable choices for dining.
