A pop-up's flour tortillas get a permanent address
Border Town started as a pop-up known for one thing: flour tortillas made from scratch. In early 2026 it landed a permanent spot on Nassau Avenue.
The tortillas are still the reason to go. Around them, expect beer, a run of botanas, and a cocktail list. Greenpoint has no shortage of Mexican food, but almost none of it makes its own flour tortillas at this level.

All of the food here is delicious These breakfast burritos are soft, spicy, sweet, intriguing - I never thought I'd taste a tortilla that tastes so similar to the ones I used to always eat in San Diego & border town really does just that Hoping for dinner burritos one day 🙏

Breakfast Burrito ($16, weekend through 2pm only) is amazing. The fresh tortilla, fillings, and salsas are all absolutely perfect.

Incredible tacos, conchas, and cafe de olla! Sausage was amazing. Potatoes and onions were also delicious. I grew up in Austin where breakfast tacos are a religion and this is the only place in New York that satisfies my craving. The salsas are fresh and so complex - beautiful place!

Simple but insanely good. The tortillas are everything. Go early and put your name in. The wait goes way faster than they estimate. Use the app to track your spot.
