Man Fire Yakitori

★ 4.5 · 94 reviews New York Opened July 2026

Duck tongue and flounder head, over charcoal until 2am

The menu here isn't a menu, it's a spread you point at: skewers stretch well past chicken into ribeye, duck tongue and flounder head, all charred over charcoal.

Man Fire Yakitori landed on Prince Street in Flushing and stays open until two in the morning, which makes it the late-night move once everything else nearby has closed.

Good to know

  • Open until 2am. You choose your own skewers from the spread.

NYC’s most interactive yakitori experience! Choose your own fresh seafood, fish, and veggies from their counter, watch them grill it fresh, and enjoy it straight from the grill. Beyond yakitori, they also serve hotpot and a variety of other dishes — making it a great spot for groups.

This place is great with their food and services that was not bad. BUT one thing the girl servers dont understand is when I tried to ask for an ice water pitcher to keep on my table. They dont seem to understand that for me to save them time to always service me that I am doing them a favor because I love drinking ice cold water. Beside that their service was extremely great. They always come over from time to time to clean the table so i was happy to leave more table tips. As for their udon dishes and yakitori sticks was not bad. Its a place Definitely worth to try. A very clean and friendly place to relax and enjoy. Also their AC is turned on great too in this summer heat right now.

Had a great dinner at Man Fire Yakitori Japanese BBQ in Flushing. The skewers were fresh, flavorful, and grilled perfectly. We especially enjoyed the lamb chop, beef tongue, pork belly with tamagoyaki, charcoal-grilled oysters, and yellowtail head. The mango chicken salad was also refreshing and a nice way to start the meal. The ingredients tasted fresh, portions were reasonable, and the prices were fair for the quality. Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. Our bill for two came to about $80 before tip, and we left feeling satisfied. Definitely a great spot for yakitori and Japanese-style BBQ. Will be back to try more items on the menu! Recommended: Lamb Chop, Beef Tongue, Charcoal-Grilled Oyster, Yellowtail Head, and Chicken Wing.
