Eight pan-Asian courses from the Jungsik team
Yellowtail under fermented tomato is the dish that sums up Mūje: pan-Asian cooking that refuses to sit in one region. The $150 tasting menu runs eight courses, looser and more playful than the fine dining next door.
It's the Jungsik team's side project, set in the West 30th Street room SEA used to occupy. Jungsik holds Michelin stars, and Mūje is that same kitchen off the leash.

Excellent food, great cocktails, and overall A+ experience. We are big fans of Jungsik and Oiji Mi, so this was high on our list. The location is a tad random (30th street and 7th ave), but the food is incredible. Everything from the caviar prawn toast, chicken, noodle, salmon, and beef was all amazing. The pace of food was a wee bit slow (we ordered the full menu a la carte at the bar). The restaurant is very long but we very much enjoyed sitting at the bar.

food was great. only criticism is that the cocktails need a lot of improvement.

Went there last night for my birthday. The tasting menu was excellent. While I didn’t order the wine paring because it’s too much wine for me, I did sip the hubby’s wines and they were phenomenal. Their chicken wing offering was the star IMO. I swear, if I had friend working there, I’d ask if s/he could sneak an extra wing in a ziplock for me. It was so good, I wouldn’t care if it made me look trashy. Absolutely amazing experience.

We had a wonderful dinner experience from start to finish. The food was beautifully presented, full of flavor, and every course was thoughtfully prepared. We especially loved how the menu incorporated different Asian flavors in a creative and well-balanced way. A special thank you to Alexander, who provided exceptional service throughout the evening. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure everything was perfect without ever being intrusive. His professionalism and warm hospitality truly elevated our experience.

Such a great spot for Asian fusion! The dishes are creative and well executed, with a nice balance of flavors that makes the fusion feel thoughtful rather than overdone. The ambience is also a highlight—stylish, inviting, and perfect for a date night or a relaxed dinner with friends. They also have a really nice wine selection that pairs well with the food. Overall, a great combination of delicious food, good wine, and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!
