Twenty seats, walk-ins only, Sardinian gnocchi

No reservations, no host stand, just a line on East 9th Street. Prosciutto runs twenty seats and a menu short enough to read standing up, which is how you will read it.

Lasagna alla bolognese anchors the table. Pork belly and Sardinian gnocchi round it out, from a team that came out of Fiaschetteria Pistoia.

Super tasty food. The lasagne was truly outstanding. The staff were also very friendly. The only issue is the size of the restaurant as it’s super small. So it feels cramped and the waiters seem like they are hovering as there is nowhere for them to stand. A great spot though and worth experiencing .

Delicious. Attentive. Authentic. We truly enjoyed our experience, everyone was so attentive in this small quaint space. Service was 10/10 with water service and changing out plates quickly without asking. The dishes we had were the sardinian gnocchi with prosciutto (10/10), san marzao tomato pasta (10/10) and tiramisu (100/100). Everything was well seasoned with freshness and the tiramisu has to be the best one I’ve had. Creamy, not overly sweet and perfectly dressed with cocoa. We ended dinner with a Perfect Cappuccino. Please visit and support this small business as they definitely will be a local staple of ours.

I was in the restaurant a few days ago and I was fascinated. I travelled a lot and tasted different cuisines but the atmosphere I found in this restaurant was special and unique. I felt at home and I could remember flavours that I had only tried in Italy. The staff was very nice and friendly, the service was fast and efficient and the food was great
