The indie-designer webshop's first real store, off the East River in Williamsburg
Maimoun spent years building a following online, picking up independent designers before the bigger retailers caught on. Now that catalog has a room to live in: a small store at 111 Grand Street, a few blocks from the East River.
Expect emerging-designer clothing and accessories alongside lifestyle objects, home goods and prints. Most pieces come in just one or two sizes, so a new drop is worth checking in person early.
Good to know
- Closed early in the week at times; weekend hours run 11am-7pm.
- The buy changes constantly with small-run designers, so what you see is often the only size run they'll get.

Maimoun is a curated clothing store featuring unique brands that highlight multiple different styles. The prices are a bit expensive, but the pieces are of high quality, with a lot of silver jewelry for those who wear silver. The pieces are tailored well, and the staff were friendly and able to help with any needs.

I’m obsessed with this new women’s clothing store in Williamsburg! The customer service was top-notch — the sales team was so friendly and helpful. They not only introduced me to amazing new designers but also helped me find the perfect outfits for a birthday party and an upcoming event. The selection is fresh, stylish, and thoughtfully curated. I’ll definitely be coming back for more unique finds and staying in touch with my salesperson!

Stepping into Maimoun felt like being welcomed into a beautifully curated home that invites you to slow down and savor every detail. You're greeted by a warm, inviting light filtering through the stunning glass façade, which creates a space that feels like a blend of an art gallery and a cozy shop. The friendly staff and lovely owner Mina make you feel genuinely welcome. They are happy to share the stories behind the collections while giving you the freedom to explore at your own pace. I left feeling inspired and look forward to returning soon!
