Tapas hour and natural wine in the North Quarter
Five to six every evening the wine bar runs a tapas hour, small plates and pours priced for a second round. Low plush chairs and patterned tile carry the room more than the menu does.
It landed in Michelin's Orlando guide within its first year, unusual for a room this size. Walk ins are welcome. It's 21 and over only, no exceptions after dark.

Sparrow Wine Bar feels like one of those places that understands wine is really just an excuse for good conversation. The atmosphere is effortlessly inviting. Cozy without feeling cramped, stylish without feeling exclusive, it's the kind of spot where you order one glass and suddenly realize two hours have disappeared. Whether you're sitting inside or enjoying the patio, the pace encourages you to slow down and actually enjoy the evening. The wine list is thoughtfully curated, offering something for both seasoned wine lovers and people who just know they like "the red one." Pair that with well-executed small plates and a menu built for sharing, and it becomes the kind of place that's easy to return to. What stood out most was how approachable everything felt. Sparrow never comes across as trying to impress you with wine knowledge. Instead, it focuses on creating an atmosphere where good food, good drinks, and good company naturally take center stage. Neighborhood wine bars are at their best when they become part of the community, and Sparrow feels like it's well on its way. Relaxed, welcoming, and exactly the kind of place that makes Orlando's local dining scene so enjoyable. 🦩

Food was good, a bit different than I expected. Restaurant was cozy and had a nice atmosphere. Make a reservation as seating is limited. There was open seating at the bar, so we could get a spot for the evening. Nice drinks and friendly staff and manager. Dj was playing old records :)

What an amazing bar! Such nice vibes, great food, cocktails & service! Jackie at the bar was great, the tomato gimlet was one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had, their Caesar carpaccio was one of the best in Orlando and the mushroom pate was delightful. Can’t wait to return, highly recommend!!

We dined at Sparrow during a recent trip to Orlando, and overall, we really enjoyed our meal. Before visiting, I had only read a handful of reviews, but I remembered one mentioning a less-than-ideal table tucked against a curtain in a small corner. Unfortunately, that was exactly where we were seated. We felt a bit cramped, and the table next to us was so close that they commented on our food throughout the meal. Thankfully, the food largely made up for it. The Endive Salad was excellent. I loved the flavors and the way it was served almost like lettuce wraps. The steak with blue cheese was cooked perfectly, incredibly tender, and full of flavor. The standout dish for me was the Cacio e Pepe Fries; I’ll be dreaming about them for a long time. The Lumache Alla Vodka was also delicious. The only dish that missed the mark was the Gambas a la Ajillo. The tableside presentation felt awkward and unnecessary. The server chopped the shrimp and egg with two spoons, poured a bowl of chips on top, and then crushed them into the dish. It almost felt like a joke, and honestly, I would have preferred the dish without the presentation. The flavors were also a bit too salty for our taste. For dessert, we had the Sparrow Chocolate Cake, which was very good. Next time, though, I’d love to try the cheesecake or one of the ice cream offerings. Despite the seating issue and one disappointing dish, we would absolutely return. Hopefully we'll get a different table next time and another order of those incredible Cacio e Pepe Fries.

A new favorite spot. Beautiful atmosphere, out of this word food. Sophia was very attentive and sweet, as was everyone else that helped us out. We do recommend a reservation because the place is intimate.
