The Burrow Cafe and Play

Coffee and a kids play space for $5
Five dollars buys a drink and full run of the play space, the two things most parents actually need at nine on a Tuesday morning. Booking is reservation based, so the room doesn't turn into a birthday party free for all.
It's open seven days a week, cafe until 7 and play space until 5. Mills 50 finally has somewhere to take a toddler that isn't a parking lot.

We absolutely love The Burrow Cafe and Play! It’s a phenomenal Orlando spot with great coffee and fantastic drinks. Don't be fooled by the smaller food menu—everything packs big, delicious flavor! A huge shout-out to Slow Rise Sourdough for providing the bagels. Coming from a New Yorker who had never tried a sourdough bagel before: wow!!! They completely blew me away. For a family with little ones, the setup here is an absolute lifesaver. The play area is perfect for the kids to run around and burn off energy. Plus, the separate seating area attached to the play space is incredibly thoughtful—it offers storage and gives families a dedicated spot to eat peacefully without worrying about disturbing other patrons. While we only get to visit when we're on this side of town, it is a must-visit every single time. We only wish we had The Burrow closer to home! Highly recommend.

I absolutely love this cafe. The food and drinks are always delicious and the staff is very friendly. It’s normally very busy as it’s a great place to do work and the kids section is adorable. I love that they also offer more than one gluten free option.

We love the Burrow! We have been excited to come here ever since I found out I was pregnant. We took advantage of their "crawlers" play time, which is the first hour of the day (I think 8am), and it was the perfect thing for our 9 month old twins. The toys are clean, age appropriate, and between play hours the attendants "reset" and tidy the room. The design of the space is so thoughtful - there is a little cafe area for your food and drinks that is separate from the play area, but adjacent that you can see your belongings or your child through the glass windows. There is also enough separation from the main cafe area to where you don't feel like your children are on display. Staff is friendly, and the coffee and snacks were also great. I liked that you could make a reservation for your play session as well.

The Burrow and Play was a good find while we were in town. The barista was genuinely helpful and welcoming, making the moment feel bright right from the first hello. The atmosphere was clean and organized, with just the right amount of cozy charm, and I loved all the fun local vendors they have for sale—great little discoveries to buy while you sip coffee or have a delicious pastry. The coffee was hot, delicious, and clearly made with care. It’s the kind of place where you can linger a bit, chat with friendly faces, and still feel productive or relaxed depending on your mood. I’d absolutely swing back next time I’m in town and would recommend it to friends looking for a welcoming, well-curated cafe experience.
