Forsythia's cocktail bar, with a burger au poivre.

Known Associates opened on Spruce Street in June 2026 from the Forsythia team, a cocktail bar that takes its food seriously enough to run a seasonal menu.

Mackerel toast, char siu duck legs, a burger au poivre. The drinks list covers a reworked old fashioned and a rum slushie, in case the evening goes that way.

Expensive but if you have the dough a good cocktail lounge is worth the splurge. They have food that I have not tried but apparently is good. The drinks were phenomenal. Gets busy quickly so grab a seat at the bar early or reserve a table ahead of time. My partner got a slushie cocktail that they light on fire so this is not a venue for cheap beer or rum and cokes.

Love this place, can't give it enough praise! The drinks are fantastic, and the food is delicious. To add, the staff are absolutely amazing: attentive, kind, and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!! :)

What a delightful experience. we were in the area looking for a cocktail and decided to stop in, and I’m glad we did. We sat at the bar and watched Damian (I believe that was his name) craft two cocktails with remarkable precision and attention to detail. Before the drinks even arrived, the space itself made an impression. The interior design is worth taking in, with its contrasting floor, wall, and ceiling patterns, thoughtfully selected furniture, and overall atmosphere that feels both artistic and inviting. The first cocktail was the TNT: Gin, Tomato, Fennel, Red Bell Pepper, Shallot, Cucumber, and Tonic. It was incredibly interesting and delicious. The clarified tomato created a clean, unique flavor profile, and the dehydrated vegetable garnish attached to the glass was both visually striking and surprisingly flavorful. The second cocktail was Between Harvests: Hayman’s Old Tom Gin, Luxardo, Nardini Rabarbaro, and Cucumber. It was well balanced and enjoyable, though I preferred the TNT. My only minor critique was that it was served in a very small, delicate glass that made me feel like I might spill it. Overall, this is a place worth experiencing. The cocktails are creative, thoughtfully executed, and beautifully presented. The food coming out of the kitchen looked fantastic as well, so I’ll definitely be back to try the menu next time.

Another customer brought their kid and they were running around but besides that it was lovely and the food was great and staff (especially the hostess) was very friendly. Not a fan of the no shoes no service policy but I would definitely go again!

Food was amazing, there was a mixup with our order and we got the wrong dish, but I’m glad we did because it was so good delicious. Definitely recommend the burger and stuffed mushrooms. The hamachi toast was sold old unfortunately. So will need to return to try that. However………the cocktails are the star of the show. Super balanced, very witty and memorable.
