Pip's opened on North Lee Street in November 2025 from the Ploughman Cider team, and it is the rare Philadelphia bar where cider is the main list rather than a concession.
Around a dozen pours at any time, plus Ploughman wines, a few beers and seasonal things like a hot toddy made with cherry vermouth. Small room, so it fills fast on a cold night.

This place is a treat! I didn't think I would enjoy this bar because I "didn't like ciders" and I was wrong. These ciders are amazing and the space is cozy and fun. They offer other drinks besides cider, but I suggest giving the ciders a try. Free pool and chill folks working there, its definitely worth a stop.

The best cider, the staff is so nice, and the hotdog’s are so good. Such a great space to hang out in the summer when the garage door is open, a little bit of a way from the chaos of Frankford, which is really nice if you’re looking for a relaxing night out in Fishtown.

Delicious cider, free pool, long bar. What more could you ask for? The space is inviting with dark green tones and wooden highlights. The drinks are awesome, with a variety for everyone. Absolutely worth stopping by if you enjoy a crisp cider!

Amy is fantastic and knowledgeable— she was so kind as to share her deep knowledge about ciders with us and got insight on how she makes the beautiful menus on display!! Pip’s is so nice and cozy. Great playlist. Comfy seating. Even tampons in the bathroom. Cutest coasters. Absolutely will be back & thanks for great experience
