Bengaluru Cafe
★ 4.5 · 254 reviews Philadelphia Opened March 2026
South Indian street food all day on North Second Street.
Bengaluru Cafe opened in Northern Liberties in March 2026 with masala dosa, tawa sandwiches, vada pav and chaat served from open to close.
The drinks matter as much as the food here: hot badam milk, masala chai, mango lassi. Go mid-afternoon when the dosa line is short. The Infatuation visited and wrote it up.

Everything was delicious, but our favorite was the paneer dosa, which had a fresh bouncy texture

My new favorite restaurant in Philly! Incredible flavor, you can really taste that the food comes from the heart. The menu is very generous with a lot to choose from. Everything was fresh and delicious and we got to talk to the wonderful owner Sri who was very kind. Excellent experience all around, can’t wait to come back.

New place in the hood to try, the restaurant itself is quite spacious. Tried a variety of things including butter dosa, idli Vada, masala thumbs up. Definitely it had unique flavors than the usual South Indian place. Pretty extensive menu and would like to stop by try their specialty rice items and sandwiches.

Everyone who works here is so nice and accommodating. The whole place is vegetarian and most things can be made vegan. I love their dosas and chaat!
