Approachable wine, far north Portland

St Johns needed something other than a dive bar, and this is it. The list skips the intimidating natural-wine jargon in favor of bottles that are just genuinely easy to like.

Order a glass and a small plate and settle into a room that's quieter than most of Portland's newer wine bars. You'll spot neighborhood regulars alongside people who made the trip up from closer-in Portland just for this.

This isn't any normal wine bar. The owner and server has an encyclopedia amount of knowledge of wine and has an every changing selection to choose from. Or tell her you favorite tasting notes and she'll make a recommendation. You can't go wrong. The food, oh me oh my, cannot be beat. Such a creative and delicious menu. Hands down the best Philly Cheesesteak sandwich I've ever had. You need to go here, you will not be disappointed

GET THE CHOCOLATE TORTE!! It was our favorite part of our entire experience and the entire experience was phenomenal. The ladies working here were amazing, the wine was so much fun and very unique, the food was so so good! I had the Papaya Nachos 10/10, my partner had the Philly Cheese Steak 10/10! No Doubts is a gem. Tactfully balancing a highly curated wine list and incredible food without pretense or snobbery. You’re guaranteed to drink great wine and eat great food in a welcoming, unpretentious environment. Great patio. It’s cozy. It’s comfortable.

This place is incredible! The wine selection is fantastic and showcases excellent wine producers with bargain prices on wine by the glass. The food, god the food! Don’t sleep on the philly cheesesteak! Meals are reminiscent of elevated “stoner food” and bring a high brow flare to comfort meals. No Doubt also has gluten free food and dessert options that vary, but the meatloaf has been my favorite so far. Hannah and Jesse have filled this cozy location with an energy that fits perfectly on this strip of Lombard.

Oh wow, that chili cheesesteak was stupid good. I mean really take your breath away good. Every ingredient thought out. Such a lovely space. The patio is so cute. Great wine choices. We will be back!
