Boba and noodle soups, open late on Fremont

Skip the choice between dessert and dinner. Chin Cha runs milk teas, fruit teas and tea lattes alongside the usual boba, plus a full menu of Chinese noodle soups that keeps going long after the rest of the block goes dark.

It's a Portland outpost of a small chain already running in Lake Oswego. On Fremont Street, it's one of the last kitchens still open, good for a late soup when nothing else on the block is.

  I ordered the Grape Smoothie, Gardenia Milk Tea, Jasmine Milk Tea, and the Matcha Cheese Latte. Drinks were all very good, staff was quick and friendly.
