Deli sandwiches by day, pasta by reservation at night

Order the Italian sandwich at the deli counter. It's thick with cured meats and built to travel, the kind of thing you eat standing up on East Burnside Street. Chef Doug Miriello built the place next door to his own Dimo's Apizza.

Come back after dark if you want the other side of it. The dining room runs a separate pasta program with reservations, so don't expect the sandwich menu to carry over to the table.

This place is my jam. Been going to Dimos for years, and when they opened up the other side for sandwiches it immediately became a favorite. The sandwiches, bombinos, those pine nut cookies, Sicilian slices. All of it is delicious. Can't stop ordering the chicken Caesar cutlet sandwich. Every time. It's perfect. But I'm a huge cutlet fan in general so it's an easy sell. Last week we got the Philly, it was so freaking good. Will order that again. Had the chicken parm, the spicy vodka parm, the Italian, pesto raab with cutlet, the roast pork raab, and a handful of specials. The only sandwich I would complain about was the French dip, not because it wasn't delicious, but it was an absolute mess, the bread isn't quite what you want for a dip, too crusty and not as compact-able, so everything spilled out. But it was still tasty. Wish they had a punch card because I'd probably have had 2 or 3 freebies at this point. We still need to try the dinner there. It looks really good, but we're more lunchtime diners. Someday soon!

Ordered the chicken caesar grinder online for pick up. It was SO flavorful, crunchy, fresh, all the good adjectives! The grana padano cheese adds a unique flavor. Loved it.

My first time here I got the chicken caesar wrap and it was so good, the chicken was cooked perfectly. When my mom came to visit (she loves chicken parm) I ordered two subs to go. We opened them when we got home and the bread was so burnt it was inedible. We ended up just eating the insides and ditching the bread. I’d go back for the wrap but probably won’t do a sub again.

Vodka sandwich ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨ - flavorful - eggplant felt healthy but I bet chicken would be yummier! Chicken Caesar wrap ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - could have more flavor but if it had more dressing that would be so unhealthy

This place is amazing! Their sandwiches will blow your mind. I’ve had 3 different ones and they’re all great. ROAST PORK RAAB FTW today. 😋 Inside atmosphere is nice for an order at the counter spot, and they have a basic patio for summer, too.
