First visit, go straight for the sandwiches. They're stacked thick and built for two hands. This is a fast-casual counter, not a sit-down dinner, so it's built for a quick lunch on Division.

I love everything about this place. The turkey sandwich was perfect. It was on the best focaccia, everything about it was excellent. The house made sodas are amazing. The service was super friendly. I can’t wait to go back.

Outstanding! I went here today with a friend while shopping on division and we were so so delighted with our experience. Friend got the pretzel (only $5) and it was waaaay too good. I got the meatball sub and I’m forever changed. They use local bakers for their ciabatta bread (as well as other ingredients) and it’s thoughtful decisions like that , that go a long way. I didn’t shut up the entire time while eating this. Like you know when you get almost mad that something is so good? Adjacent to cute aggression for like a cat or something. This place is so good. The people are so friendly. I WILL be back so so soon. Thank you!!!! Ps: there are bubbles to blow on all tables outside. Love.

This was my second time eating at “Dream Deli” ( the first time was in mid December) and I went straight back to the Corned Beef Reuben. It was even more delicious (not sure how they performed that magic) than the one I had in December. As I was waiting for my sandwich to be delivered, I had an opportunity to chat with other diners. They all praised the delicious food and quality service. One diner from Seattle told me her husband had eaten there on a previous trip to Portland and told her she had to try it on their next Portland trip. She was so excited to try it because she said there weren’t a lot of options for a good Jewish deli sandwich in Seattle and being from the Pittsburgh area she was really missing the taste of home. The location is amazing with lots of fun shops all around. It was an overall lovely experience and I look forward to dining there again on my next visit back to Portland. Yummy 😋

Had an absolutely dreamy lunch at this sure-to-be new Portland classic restaurant. Wonderful quince cookie while I waited for my friend. Then a special Reuben sandwich that was out of this world, and a perfect pickle. Had an orange cream drink they make that was mmmmmmmm! Friend had a bowl of beans and I was not offered a bite. Lovely small room. Fantastic staff at the cash register advising me (you have to line up and then take a table after you order). Can’t wait to go back — this is a new Portland favorite!
