Look for the corner behind Plaid Pantry, not a storefront. Oscar Food & Wine sits in the former Kashiwagi space off SE Division, a modern European kitchen built around a natural wine list that does the talking.
The menu stays small and seasonal, vegetables getting the same care as the protein beside them. No reservations, so show up ready to wait at the bar during peak hours.

What an amazing find! One of the few restaurants I’ve been to where I literally wanted everything on the menu. Run, don’t walk here!

Our family had a great dinner and fun evening at Oscar last week - all the dishes we had were excellent, from the crudo, toast with mussels, duck, squash blossoms (my fave!) and gambas to the great wines and coffee. Especially appreciated how the staff and chef went out of their way to make our family with two kids feel welcome. This is a small place in the corner of a strip mall - unpretentious, delicious and fun!

Noticed the restaurant while driving. No reservations and really no problem if you're early on a Thursday. We sat in the corner by the window. There are also a few outside tables but inside is perfect. Ambiance is tastefully understated. The wine selection is curated nicely. We liked the sparkling and orange wines we tried. The Tuna Crudo is fantastic as well as the Gambas al Ajillo! I'd definitely be back for those alone but if you have room, the Profiteroles are delightful and a great value. I feel like most places would give you one for that price but not here, you get two! Seems like great date spot or go with a few people you enjoy. I hope to return in the near future.

Oscar Food & Wine is a wonderful hidden gem tucked away from the crowds. The food was exceptional, and the extensive wine list offered plenty of great choices to pair with our meal. Our favorites were the asparagus, the perfectly cooked steak, and the swordfish schnitzel, which was unique and absolutely delicious. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely kind, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. We would gladly return and highly recommend Oscar Food & Wine to anyone looking for an outstanding meal and excellent wine selection.

Amazing spot! The food was delicious, great wine selection. I loved the asparagus and the steak. Try the profiteroles for dessert!!!
