Coffee and cut flowers on Third Avenue

Communal Coffee opened its Bankers Hill shop on 15 July 2025 at 2710 Third Avenue, keeping the format that made the North Park and South Park sites work: a florist and a coffee bar sharing one room.

Mornings are busy with people walking down to the office towers. The flowers are not decoration, they are for sale, and the bunches are priced better than the neighbourhood suggests.

I hate to publicly announce how amazing this specific Communal Coffee location (please don’t bombard this location haha) - but seriously, it’s the best! I had become discouraged after terrible service on multiple occasions from another Communal location…but this one is A+! We go there almost daily and the baristas at this location are always friendly and consistently make an excellent latte. Happy baristas make excellent lattes! I will drive out of my way to come to this location - that’s how good it is!

Ate the most beautiful yogurt bowl of my life here. The coffee shop is next to a lobby you can sit in and it’s such a nice atmosphere. The mint cold brew tastes amazing. I would for sure return.

Not sure about food as I did lot have any. Coffee was fantastic and so was service. I had batch roast coffee, single origin from Mexico and it was fantastic and my wife had lavender honey latte which she liked too. It is near a beautiful park with outdoor seating which seemed to be fine and server answered a lot of my questions

Quaint coffee shop tucked in the Banker's Hill hills. Inside area is limited to two hours but the Saturday I went it was relatively empty. Vanilla Matcha Latte was amazing. Olive Street Park is also next door if you wish to remain outdoors.
