Signal Coffee

A serious coffee bar in the middle of Fisherman's Wharf
Signal opened at 2701 Leavenworth in May 2026, inside the Cannery block at Fisherman's Wharf. Good coffee is hard to find in this quarter, where the ground floors are mostly souvenir shops and chowder in bread bowls.
That scarcity is the whole argument for coming. It's also why the line runs heaviest between eleven and two, when the wharf is at its fullest. Early morning here is quiet in a way the rest of the day never is.

Cute coffee shop near our hotel. Stopped for breakfast. Food was great, coffee was on point. The staff were awesome! The gentlemen came to our table to offer our girls Ube lattes on the house, just because! So sweet of him! Wonderful way to start our day! Thank you for bringing some magic to our adventure

Great coffee and friendly people. The Dulce de Leche Latte is awesome, preferred it with just one shot though.

I ordered just a iced latte but it’s so good 🫶🏽🫶🏽 It was very hot outside and I needed something cold to drink so it was perfect ❤️❤️ The orner and staff members are so lovely!

I stopped in for coffee and a bite to eat. It was delicious! Service was great and fast. Took a sip of my coffee before the photo.

We stopped at Signal Coffee Roasters near Fisherman’s Wharf on our way to Chinatown. The space does get quite packed and cramped, but it has a lively energy. The coffee was very good—especially the iced oat milk black sesame latte and the Mexican mocha. The Signal breakfast sandwich was filling and tasty, and the kids enjoyed their sprinkle donuts. I also liked the mango coconut chia pudding. A couple of items didn’t stand out, like the egg frittata and ricotta toast, but overall it’s a solid stop for coffee and breakfast in the area.
