Golden Rule

A bar on the Mission Bay waterfront, open since May 2026
Golden Rule opened on Terry Francois Boulevard in May 2026, on the bay side of Mission Bay near the Chase Center and the water. The whole district is new construction, so a bar here has no older neighbors to measure itself against.
Mission Bay empties out badly on nights when nothing's on at the arena, and fills up completely when something is. Check the Warriors schedule, or whatever's playing at the Chase Center, before picking your night.

Thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Golden Rule. Drinks were incredible and the bites were the perfect snacks. Stevie and Eugene made me perfect drinks

Fantastic cocktail bar with great beer and wine selection. Staff is great and their snacks are delicious (slices are from Che Fico). If you're hitting this place up after a Valkyries or Warriors game, this spot is a no brainer. If you're just in the area, it's still well worth the visit.

Came after the Valkyries game. Absolutely phenomenal. Genuinely ruined me for all other cocktails. Cudos to the staff and whoever created this incredible bar program.

Wow! What a great spot to enjoy a nice cocktail! This place just opened and I happened to stumble upon it. It’s a cozy bar and their drinks are fairly unique. It’s nice to have a craft cocktail bar in this area now! The service was great too. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.
