French pastry that graduated from the farmers market to the Ferry Building
The Frenchy Gourmet sold at Bay Area farmers markets for years before taking a permanent stall inside the Ferry Building in July 2026. Market table to bricks and mortar is the usual San Francisco progression, and the Ferry Building has absorbed several of these in the last two years.
It's a pastry counter, so the queue behaves like one: the good things go early, and Saturday is the worst day to test that. The market stalls outside on Saturday morning are where the operation started.
