Turkish bakes and coffee from a stall inside Saluhall
Oklava Cafe opened in Saluhall in July 2026, working the Turkish baking repertoire from a stall on Market Street. The name is the Turkish rolling pin used for thin dough, a clue to where the kitchen's attention goes.
Mid-Market has almost nothing in this register. The food hall format means you can eat a borek standing up at eleven in the morning without committing to a sit-down meal, and it's easy to build a plate across two or three of the neighboring counters.

Delicious pide, large serving. Salmon bowl delicious! Very friendly service. The pastries look amazing but haven't had the chance to try yet.

We were excited to hear of a new Turkish place at Saluhal, so gave it a try this past weekend! Excellent! I could eat their lentil soup all day long! We had a delicious flatbread, and we were tempted to try one of their decadent gorgeous desserts and it did not disappoint! Highly encourage you to give this place a try! Just don't eat all the lentil soup before I get there!
