Vietnamese coffee holds its ground on Valencia Street
Binge opened at 530 Valencia in June 2026 pouring Vietnamese coffee on a block where nearly every other cafe pulls Italian-style espresso. Condensed milk and robusta make a different drink, and the sweetness isn't a mistake, it's the whole point.
Valencia between 16th and 17th packs in more coffee shops per block than almost anywhere else in the city, so standing out here takes nerve. Order the iced version to go. Dolores Park is eight blocks away and it travels fine.

Quality matcha - creamy, strong, right level of sweetness. Lots of fun varieties for Viet coffee and matcha. Banh mi is also delicious and reasonably priced. My only critique would be that I wish the bread was softer/more fluffy/fresh baked. But then again, I did come at 3pm. Otherwise quick, quality service and I’d definitely recommend this place! Also love that it’s local, Viet family owned

I ordered the iced Earl Grey Matcha Latte - which was the best ceremonial matcha ever! Located on Valencia near 16th street in FRISCO. The match came highly recommended by other patrons & it didn’t disappoint! The earl grey was robust and not drowned out by the matcha. The matcha was floral, semi sweet, bold and velvety with a cap of matcha foam on top. I wanted to share photos I took but couldn’t The wait time was less than 7 mins and the matcha recharge me like I had hoped

My husband and I stopped by this lovely matcha shop, and as a huge matcha fan, he absolutely loved it! The drinks were rich, fragrant, and full of authentic matcha flavor without being overly sweet. The shop itself is adorable, with a cozy atmosphere and beautiful little corners. We also had the chance to take some photos to remember our visit, which made the experience even more special. If you’re a matcha lover or simply looking for a cute café with delicious drinks, I highly recommend stopping by. We’ll definitely be back!

TL;DR: pistachio matcha latte is good! 🧊For my fellow less ice / no ice girlies— I went to order from the self service machine and didn’t see an option for less ice. So I went to the register to order and they said they didn’t know if they do less ice. When I asked a follow up Q, turns out they don’t put much ice anyways and it’s smaller crunched up ice. I went in on a whim while walking past, no expectations. I got a pistachio matcha latte, and it was super tasty! Love the pistachio foam 😋 Will be back to try other menu items!

Cute little place with lots of seating options and drinks/food options. Even for dine-in, all their drinks come in to-go containers though. The food comes out fairly quick though.
